The exterior of the building has modest Art Deco and Classical elements, and the interior offers a number of artistic and stylistic treasures. Murals entitled Harvest of the Land and Harvest of the Sea, as well as areas representing lumber, fisheries, mining, and Alaska’s native population, decorate the interior.
