
Forty-two steps lead up to the entrance of the legislative building where bronze
doors depict industry and examples of Washington’s scenic majesty. The state seal,
which features George Washington prominently, is found on the floor of the rotunda,
and throughout the capitol. Getting a picture with George ---a bust overlooking
the rotunda--- will bring luck. 360-902-8880 Tours of the Capitol Building: Monday - Sunday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Tours start on the hour and are one hour long.
